SCHENECTADY-James John Lawson, Sr. 76, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2017 at home with his family.
He was born on August 6, 1940, son of the late Barbara Lawson in Middleburgh, NY.
He was an avid outdoorsman, loved hunting and nature.
John is survived by his life mate, Mary Lou Douglass; his children, James John Lawson, Jr. (Anita), Marlette Aanensen-Ramundo; grandchildren, James John Lawson, III, Thomas Lawson, Genny Lawson, Bradley Lawson, Jeffery Lawson, Christine Lawson, Tiffany Lawson, Travis Aanensen, Ryan Ramundo and Randy Ramundo his great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara Lawson, sister-in-law, Ruth Lawson and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
John was predeceased by his brother, George.
In keeping with his wishes, there will be no services.
