ALBANY - James W. McCauley, 63, passed away on Friday, October 15, 2021 at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany, NY.
James was born on May 28, 1958 in Rahway, NJ, the son of Telfair F. (Carver) McCauley and the late John T. McCauley, II. He attended Plainfield High School in Plainfield, NJ. He worked for E One Corporation in Albany for many years then he went into nursing at the Good Samaritan Village. He played drums since he was 15 years old and loved music, especially Jazz.
In addition to his loving mother, Telfair, James is survived by his sister, Terry Wyatt; his nephew, Andrea McCauley Jr. that he helped raise and also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, James was predeceased by his brothers, John T. McCauley Jr., Andrea McCauley, and Derrick McCauley.
