James R. Miller

ROTTERDAM

ROTTERDAM- James R. Miller, formerly of Delmar, age 78, passed away suddenly on September 12, 2024.

He was born in Johnson City, NY, the son of the late Rudolph and Mildred Miller.

James retired from the NYS Thruway Authority as a Civil Engineer after 36 years of service.

He is survived by his wife, Jaime; step-daughters: Brenda, Martha and Margaret; and sister, Martha S. Zacheis. Also survived by five grandchildren, three nieces and a nephew.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his calling hours on Thursday, September 19, 2024 from 9 to 11 a.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205. All are invited to attend a brief celebration of life following at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Schenectady.

Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
