James Moore

West Sand Lake – James E. Moore, 55. The sun rose for him on July 17, 1957 and the sun set on December 30, 2012.
He was born in Albany to the late Ransom and Ann (Predel) Moore. James was a 1975 graduate of Guilderland High School, where he met his wife. He then went on to become co-owner of Moore Fire Extinguisher Co. in Albany. Jim was a lover of the outdoors; whether it was golfing, cruising Lake George aboard his beloved boat, "Finally", or enjoying summers in Cape Cod with his family. He will be remembered for his kind spirit and willingness to give of himself.
Jim is survived by the love of his life and wife of 34 years Catherine Moore, and their children Kristen (Kathryn), Jamie (Matthew), and Kelsey. He is also survived by his brothers Ransom (Deborah) Moore Jr., Mark (Kelli) Moore, and sisters; Margaret (Daniel) Zukowski, Maureen Moore, and Marianne (Mark) Lindsay. James is also survived by a large extended family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Jude the Apostle Church, Wynantskill at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday January 5th, 2013.
Calling Hours will be held Friday January 4, 2013 from 4 to 8 p.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie.
Interment will be at St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
