James R. Baldwin

GUILDERLAND – James R. Baldwin, 60, passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at St. Peter's Hospital.
James was born on July 27, 1949 in Albany and is the son of Mary E. (Loy) Baldwin of Guilderland and the late Robert L. Baldwin. He worked as a plumber for many years. He enjoyed playing cards with his friends and listening to the blues. But his greatest joy was in his seven grandchildren.
In addition to his mother, James is survived by his sons, James T. Baldwin and his wife, Kellie and Richard L. Baldwin and his wife Michele, all of Guilderland and his daughter, Melissa Led Duke and her husband Spencer of Voorheesville. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Jimmy, Kyle, and Ryan Baldwin, Derek Baldwin and Ashley, Spencer, and Shawn Led Duke. He was predeceased by his wife, Marianne E. (Rimmer) Baldwin.
Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.). Calling hours will precede the service from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family in Evergreen Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Regional Food Bank of NENY, 965 Albany Shaker Rd., Latham, NY 12110 in memory of James R. Baldwin.
