SCHENECTADY, NY – James Richard Condor, 62, passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2008 at Ellis Hospital, after a long illness. Born in Albany, he was the loving son of the late Mary Rita Harvie Condor and Joseph Condor. He was an Albany resident for most of his life before moving to Schenectady. Mr. Condor worked for Cavaleri's Restaurant in Albany for twenty years. Jimmy devoted most of his life spreading the gospel of Jesus through the distribution of tracts and sharing his own extraordinary testimony. He was an avid supporter of the Albany City Mission, headed up by Perry Jones. Jimmy is the beloved brother of Patricia (Richard) Shaver, Paul (Bonnie) Condor, Linda (Angel) Alvarez and Joseph Bliven. Also surviving are twelve nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 12:00 p.m. at New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie (RT. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will precede the service from 10:00 to 12:00 at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Albany City Mission, 259 South Pearl St., Albany, NY 12201 in memory of James R. Condor
