James Robinson

February 23, 1944 — June 13, 2012

James J. (Jim) Robinson, 68, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at his home with his family by his side. He was the son of the late Harry and Alyce (McMeel) Robinson. Jim was born, raised and educated in Troy before moving to Grafton and most recently Guilderland. Happily married for 48 years, Jim is survived by his wife, best friend and his honey, the former Brenda Hyde.

In addition to Brenda, he is survived by his four children, Jim Jr. (Nancy), Shelley (Karl), Tim, Tom (Jewel), eight dearly loved grandchildren, Karl, Kris, Shannon, Corey, Erin, Justin, Melissa, Lily and his brother Jack (Barbara) of New Smyrna Beach, Fl. He was predeceased by an infant granddaughter Haley.

A funeral service will be Monday at 12:30 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. A calling hour will precede the service from 11 to 12:30. Interment will follow the service at 2 pm at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schylerville.in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer 260 Osborne Road Loudonville, NY 12211 or to the Western Turnpike Rescue Squad 1853 Western Ave., Albany NY 12203 in Jim's memory.
