James Smith

COLONIE – James "Jimmy" Smith, 50, passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at Albany Memorial Hospital. Born in Albany, he was the son of the late James and Marlene Smith.
Jimmy enjoyed working at the laundromat, flipping houses, and stripping and waxing floors.
Along with his parents, Jimmy was predeceased by his brother, Kevin Smith.
He is survived by his loving companion Karin Becker; brothers Maurice Smith of Atlanta, Mark Smith of Schenectady, and Richard Smith of Albany. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 10:30 am at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. A calling hour will precede the service from 9:30 to 10:30 am at the funeral home.
