James T. Johnson

ALBANY, NY – James T. Johnson, 71, passed away on Friday, February 19, 2010. He was born in Hawkinsville, GA and was the son of the late Mack and Annie Johnson. Jake attended school in the Bronx and later worked in the Brooklyn Navy Yard. He relocated to Albany in 1988. Jake is the father of Jason (Barbara), Ozzie, Imeer, Beverly, Alan and Barry. He is the brother of Rosa, Mack and Bobby. Also surviving are his grandchildren: Lillard, Jalon, Javon, Brittany, Shamel, Myiesha, Chantel, Imani, Ozzie Jr., Jason Jr., Ajiana and Tajane and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 a.m.at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 86 Schuyler St., Albany. A calling hour will precede the service from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery, Albany.
