Chatham- James A. Watson, passed away peacefully at home, January 16th, 2024. Born in Warrington, GA. on May 2,1936.
Later moving to Hudson and then Albany, NY. He found his best comfort residing in Chatham, NY, where he lived for 40 years. He served in the Civil Air Patrol and was dedicated to his profession as a security officer for over 30 years.
He is pre-deceased by his Wife, Corrine Watson, parents, J.W. & Essie B. Watson, his siblings, Emargaie Tillman, Marion Taylor and Joseph Watson.
He is survived by his Daughters, Mona Lisa Watson (Richard), Harrietta Watson (David) and Clorinda Watson-Miller. His Grandsons, Julius Perez (Hammer), Jordan-James Igoe (Smuggling) and Granddaughter, Monet Elysea DeJesus (Blue Baby), Great-Granddaughters, Aaliyah, Julianna, So'leia-Corinne, and Lucia-Corinne.
His siblings, Johnny C. Watson (Beauty) Mattie Dean Smith, Tim Watson, Nathaniel Watson, Cecil Watson, Buster Watson, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A Memorial Service will be scheduled at a later date.
In lieu of Flowers, Donations can be made to the leukemia & lymphoma society.
