Jane Elizabeth(Coughtry) Rauch

VOORHEESVILLE – Jane Elizabeth (Coughtry) Rauch, 91, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, February 23, 2013, after a brief illness.

Jane was born on September 25, 1921 in Slingerlands, NY and was the daughter of the late Frank W. and Julia (Flagler) Coughtry. She was a bookkeeper in her younger years for the family business, Coughtry Linoleum. She enjoyed cooking and gardening.

Jane is survived by her loving children, Henry William Rauch (Dorothy) of Morgantown, W. VA., Carol Ann Bromley (Peter) of Eden, NC, and Virginia Rapant (Larry) of Voorheesville; her loving grandchildren, Denise Hamrick (Jason), Heidi Bromley, Heather Bromley, and Hollyanne Barker (Kevin); her cherished great grandchildren, Rachel Newman and Roger Christman; her brother, Jon Roger Coughtry (Evelyn); her sister-in-law, Helen Coughtry and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, William T. Rauch and her brothers, Howard and David Coughtry.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. A calling hour will precede the service from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
