Jane L. Knapp

Colonie - Jane L. Knapp, 87, passed away peacefully at her daughter's home on Thursday, February 9, 2017 with her loving family by her side. Jane was the daughter of the late Peter G. and May H. Lee.

Jane was the loving wife of her late husband, Emerson "Hank", a loving mother to her adoring children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Jane is survived by her children, Bill (Janice) Knapp, Kathy (Brian) Whipple, Cindy (Rich) McCullough-Smith, Hank (Jan) Knapp, and John (Darcy) Knapp; grandchildren, Bill (Tamar), Andrew (Nikki), Ryan (Tracy), Angelique, Kris (Robyn), Eric, Katlyn, Mike, Mark (Krissa), Dan, Tom (Jess), Steve, Brian; great grandchildren, Emerson, Logan, Amelia, Michaela, Kasey, Parker, Emma, Connor, Nicole; siblings, Peter Lee, Jr., Patricia Lee Ramundo, Thomas (Michelle) Lee, and many loving nieces and nephews.

Jane was predeceased by her sisters, Virginia (Bill) Chaplin, Kathryn (Frank) Bogarski; her brother, Robert (Lucy) Lee; and her brother in law: Richard Ramundo.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funerals & Cremations, 343 New Karner Rd., Albany, on Monday, February 13, 2017 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A Service of Christian Burial will be held at the Albany Church of Christ, 30 Russell Road, Albany, on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Jane's Memory to The Children's Program at the Albany Church of Christ.
