Jane P.(Shutter) Kuon

RENSSELAER – Jane P. (Shutter) Kuon, 85, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2013. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Marie Shutter. Jane was an Albany resident for most of her life. Jane enjoyed embroidering beautiful gifts for family and friends. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.


Jane was the beloved wife of the late John C. Gilroy and Anthony J. Kuon. She is the devoted mother of Arthur (Linda) Gilroy, Deborah A. (John) Morrison, Pamela A. (Bob) Ginock , and the late Marion J. DeVoe, John C. Gilroy and Kimberly A. KaKos. Jane is the loving sister of Charles Shutter and the late Arthur and Robert Shutter. She is the beloved cousin of Ismay Payne. Also surviving are many cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.


Funeral services will be Thursday at 12:00 p.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will precede the service from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie.
