Janet S. Anderson, 84, died peacefully, Monday August 29, 2011 at St. Peter's Hospital, Albany.
She was born in Colonie on April 21, 1927, daughter of the late Viola (Hollenbeck) and Charles Stewart.
Devoted wife of the late Herbert J. Anderson, who died May 23, 1999
Loving Mother of Lauren (Ed) Bossart of Huntington Beach, CA. Cherished Grandmother of Lindsay Ann and Allison Adele Bossart of Huntington Beach, CA. Special Niece of Beatrice Wagner of Colonie.
Janet worked for American Airlines and later retired as a travel agent.
Throughout her life, Janet enjoyed traveling and taking cruises with her husband. Most recent, she enjoyed frequent trips to California & the West Coast to spend special time with her family, and most important, her granddaughters.
She was very devoted to the Lord and her Faith.
She was a communicant of St. Matthews Episcopal Church in Latham.
Graveside Funeral Service will take place on Saturday September 3, 2011, 11:00 am at Memory Gardens, Colonie.
