Janet R. Albertini

COLONIE – Janet R. Albertini, 82, passed away peacefully at her residence on Monday, March 3, 2014 surrounded by loving family. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late Gino and Lena Zampa.
Janet worked for Capital Region BOCES and retired after 20 years of service.
Along with her parents, Janet was predeceased by her husband, Raymond J. Albertini.
She will be missed by her children Raymond Albertini of Voorheesville, Michael (Juanita) Albertini of Fultonville, and Lisa (Tom) Rasmuson of Scotia; three siblings; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 1:00 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. A calling hour will precede the service from 12:00 to 1:00 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Albany, 445 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205.
