ALBANY - Janet Silvernail of Albany, passed away on Wednesday November 30, 2011 at Guilderland Center Nursing Home.
She was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late Frederick and Jane Basch. Janet was predeceased by her husband Robert Silvernail. She was a waitress for over twenty years in the Tri-City area. The family offers their sincere thanks and gratitude to the wonderful staff at St. Peter's Hospital 4th floor and Guilderland Center Nursing Home for their kind and compassionate care.
Janet is the beloved mother of Linda Banasiewicz (Randy Stanton), Richard La Mountain, Michael (Maureen) La Mountain, and Gary (Tracey) La Mountain. She is the dear friend and companion of Thomas Lo Presti. Janet is the sister of Robert (Ann) Basch. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Tuesday morning at 9:30 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. Calling hours will be Monday from 4 to 7 pm at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
