Jarrett J. Anderson

ALBANY - Jarrett Joshua Anderson, 43, passed away suddenly on Friday, July 13, 2012. Born in Albany on December 26, 1968, he was the beloved son of Dian (Davis) Anderson and the late Frank Anderson Sr. Jarrett is the loving companion of Mary Vargas; former husband and lifelong friend of Sonia Madera Anderson; loving father of Shamiara, Javarri, and Isiah; grandfather of Damahje' Fobbs; and brother of Danna, Wayne, Frank Jr., Lance, and twin brother of Jon. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Jarrett worked as a machine operator at Von Roll USA in Rotterdam. He loved to golf and enjoyed horse racing. He also loved to watch football and was an avid New York Giants fan. Jarrett was proud to serve his country in the United States Marine Corps and was a decorated Desert Storm Veteran.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie (Route 155- South of Central Ave). Calling hours will precede the service from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville. All offerings, comforts, and condolences will be accepted at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Commondo Lodge #1105 & Loyal Temple # 148, 39 Second St. Albany, NY 12110.
