COLONIE, NY – Jason A. Mossop, 30, passed away suddenly at home on Wednesday, October 27, 2010. He was born in Albany and lived in Albany for most of his life. Jason graduated from Albany High School and attended both Russell Sage and Schenectady County Community College. He was currently working for Chartwell Food Service at SUNY at Albany. Jason is the beloved son of Colleen (Robert) Hooten and Robert (Linda) Mossop. He is the devoted brother of Robert Mossop, Andrew Hooten, Erin Mossop and Monica Hooten. Jason is the cherished grandson of Hannah and Joseph Venduro. Also surviving are several loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Jason will always be remembered as a loving son, brother, grandson and nephew who enjoyed spending time with his family.
Funeral services will be Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will b e Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memory Gardens, Colonie. Memorial contributions may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation of N.E. New York, 3 Washington Square, Albany, NY 12205 in memory of Jason A Mossop.
