Albany~
Jean M. Blest, 75, of Amsterdam, formerly of Albany, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 27, 2020 at Capstone Nursing & Rehab.
Born in Albany on January 2, 1945, Jean was the daughter of the late Eugene F. and Margaret M. (O'Hanlon) Clements.
Jean was the wife of the late William Adams, Sr., and the late George Blest, and partner of Paul Armstrong.
Born and raised in Albany, Jean lived in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, New Jersey and lastly returning to the Albany area.
She graduated from Mercy High School, class of 1964, where she was the class president.
Jean was involved with many social and church programs over the years.
Jean is survived by her children; William (Lysa) Adams, Jr. Charleen (Stan) Hutchison.
Grandchildren; William Adams III, Rachelle Adams, Jack Hutchison and Olivia Hutchison.
Her brothers; John (the late Angie) Clements and Dave (Pam) Clements.
Also survived by her best friend Eileen Rogers, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services are private at the convenience of the family. Interment will be at St. Agnes Cemetery in Menands at a later date.
