Jean C. Hammann, 73, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2013 at Guilderland Center Nursing Home after a long illness, with her family by her side.
Jean was born in Albany to the late Kenneth Sr. and Florence Hammann.
Before her illness Jean loved to tend to her beautiful flower gardens. She also loved to travel and especially loved visiting light houses.
Jean is the loving mother of, Christopher (Jackie) Jones, Bruce (Darlina) Jones, Sharon (Keith) Kissinger, Michael (Linda) Jones. She is the beloved sister of; Kenneth Hammann II, Marjorie (Paul) Tarbay, Janice (Jack) Maxstadt and Karen Bellville. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 25, 2013 at 10:00 am at Christ Our Light Church, 1 Maria Drive, Loudonville, NY. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Interment will follow the Mass at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie.
