Albany- Jean E. Colliton, 81, passed away at the Guilderland Center Nursing Home, on Thursday, February 2, 2006. Born in Albany she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Anna Biglow.
Jean spent most of her life as a homemaker whose focus was her family. She devoted her life to her children and grandchildren and enjoyed time spent with them. Jean also enjoyed her trips to New York City and the Saratoga Race Track. Jean is predeceased by her two brothers Andrew and Paul Biglow.
Survivors include her four children, Gerald W. Colliton, Jr. of Albany, Pamela C. Robinson (Joseph) of Albany, Debbie A. Bauer of Albany, and James P. Colliton, Esq. (Grace) of Poughkeepsie; nine grandchildren, Chris, Edward, Adam, Amy, Trevor, Ostyn, Kaly, Afton, Preston; one great granddaughter Jasmine and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the entire staff at the Guilderland Center Nursing Home for their love and care to Jean.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 AM at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.). Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie.
