Jean H. Perry

TROY-Jean H. Perry of Troy, NY died peacefully on November 28, 2013 following a brief illness. She was born in Buffalo, NY to Ernest and Ethel Henner on February 12, 1918.
She was predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Robert Perry Sr., her brothers John Henner and Ernest Henner and by her sister Marjorie Littlefield.
Jean is survived by her son, Robert Perry Jr. (Claudette Boutin) of New Hampshire, her daughter Susan Bergmann (Ken), grandchildren Justin Bergmann and Melissa Smith, all of Colonie, NY and many nieces and nephews.
She was a wonderful and caring wife and mother who found joy in her family and her pets. Most of her life was spent living in Victor, NY and later Canandaigua, NY. Jean and her family spent many happy times sailing on Canandaigua Lake. She and her husband traveled extensively worldwide for business and pleasure.
The family wishes to extend special thanks to her caring aides, Lasheba Dickson, Marlon Dickson, Margaret Holmes, Loretta Dickson and Beverly Wanker who provided her with loving care for the past two years.
Calling hours will be held from 5 to 7 PM on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie.
A graveside service and burial in Millville, NY will take place at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Mohawk-Hudson River Humane Society, 3 Oakland Avenue, Menands, NY 12204 in her name.
