Jean E. Lewis

Jean E. Lewis, 90, wife to Albert H. Lewis, went home to the Lord on Sunday, March 2, 2025.

Born on May 19, 1934, in Saint Ann Jamaica, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Constance (Virgo) Webb.

While in Jamaica; before marriage she worked as a manager of a jewelry store. After marriage she was a stay at home mother.

Jean came to the United States in December 11th 1970. After this time she went to school where she received her associates degree and worked as a nursing assistant until she retired in 2005 at 70 years old.

She worked alongside her husband Albert H. Lewis Sr in ministry where they organized several churches and she actively served as Sunday school teacher and evangelist.

She has five children, Annette Malcolm, Nedian Corriea, Peter J. Lewis, Carol Jenkins and Albert Lewis Jr. and eleven grandchildren.

Jean is survived by four brothers, George Webb, Joseph Webb, Carol Webb, Jeffrey Webb and four sister’s Shirley Henry, Bernice Small, Etilda Webb and Ive Donia.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 14, 2025, from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm with a Celebration of Life Service to begin at 12:00pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie NY 12205. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 9863 Watervliet Shaker Rd., Albany, NY 12205
