LAS VEGAS, NV. – Jean M. Aiken, 78, formerly of Las Vegas, passed away on Sunday September 13,2009 at the Albany County Nursing Home after a long illness.
She was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late Peter and Mildred Benedetti. Jean was a devoted mother and grandmother. She had resided in Las Vegas for over 30 years. Jean was a bingo enthusiast and enjoyed family gatherings, holidays, sewing, gardening and crossword puzzles. She was predeceased in 1988 by her husband Joseph P. Aiken
Jean is the beloved mother of Kerry (James) Van Deusen, Peter (Gina) Aiken, Timothy Aiken, Susan (Jim) Bryant, Kelly (Marco) Reveles, Jeannie Rivera and Joseph Aiken. She is the sister of Anna Reagan, Lillie Reagan and Peter (Bonnie) Benedetti. Jean is also survived by 13 grandchildren, a niece and a nephew.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Memorial services on Friday afternoon at 1:00 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. There will be no calling hours.
