Jean M. Breen

LATHAM – Jean M. Breen, 68, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2013 at St. Peter's Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Marian A. and Harry L. Breen.
Jean was a resident of Latham for six years. She graduated from Mercy Secretarial High School in Albany. Jean retired from the Albany County Clerk's Office, but continued to work part time for Target in Latham until her passing. In her free time, she enjoyed her days at home and vacationing with Norman. Jean cherished the time she spent with her family, and had the knack of always finding the perfect gift for the little ones.
Jean will be missed by her beloved companion and friend, Norman Nadeau; brother Michael J. (Carolyn) Breen; nephew Michael P. (Amanda Mahoney) Breen; great-nephews Andersen and Paxton Breen; several cousins and many close friends.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 1:30 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Calling hours will precede the service from 12:00 to 1:30 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. At the request of the family, memorial contributions may be made to the Autism Society of the Greater Capital Region, 101 State Street, Schenectady, NY 12305 in her name.
