Jean L. Miner
December 17, 1946 — January 2, 2023
Ballston Lake- Jean L. Miner, 76, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 2, 2023 at home with her loving family by her side under the care of Hospice following a long illness. She was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Lillian Proctor. Jean was the devoted wife to James Miner. They were married 47 years.
Jean worked as an assistant baker for many years until her retirement.
Jean enjoyed spending time with her entire family and loved cooking for them. She had a fond love of going to casinos and bowling. Jean found joy in watching and feeding the rabbits, squirrels, and birds in her backyard. Most of all, Jean cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Jean is survived by her children, John (Cheryl) Miner and Lloyd (LaKee) Miner; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and many friends.
The family would like to extend a thank you to Jean's Hospice Nurse, Anna who provided kind and compassionate care to Jean and her family.
Services will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Jeans' name to The Community Hospice Foundation, 310 S. Manning Blvd., Albany, NY 12208
