Jean Oakley

Jean M. Oakley, 83, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on Monday, April 25, 2016. She was born in Grand Gorge to the late George and Harriet Oakley.

Jean retired from Wright's cleaning after 15 years. She loved to shop, especially at Fashion Bug with her grandchildren. Family was the center of Jean's life and spending time together was her greatest joy.

In addition to her parents, Jean was predeceased by her partner of 55 years, Marvin Rose, Sr. and her two sisters, Ellen Bliven and Doris Sarrutto.

Jean is survived by her beloved children; Ronnie (Tina), Kim, Tina, Marvin (Debbie), Vicky, and Richard; grandchildren, Katrina, April, Annie, Heather, Hollyann, and Richard, Jr.; five great-grandchildren; brothers, George (Shirley) Oakley, Frank (Priscilla) Oakley, and Robert (Linda) Oakley; and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 10am on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Sts. Cyril and Method Cemetery.
