Jean Robinson-Murray

SCHENECTADY – Jean A. Robinson-Murray, 82, passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2006 after a brief illness. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late Allan and Agnes Schill. Jean lived in Schenectady for most of her life. She worked for New York State for many years before her retirement. Jean was the wife of the late Carl A. Robinson and Gordon E. Murray. Surviving are her devoted children, Allan D. Robinson of Schenectady, Sharon L. Hall of Stillwater and Debra J. Putnam of Galway. She is the step-mother of Robert Murray. Jean is the loving sister of Janet D'Ambrosio, Carolyn Baldwin, Allan Schill and William Schill. Also surviving are her cherished grandchildren, Carl Robinson, Amber and Ashley Putnam, Tiffany Sharp and Jacqueline and Timothy Hall as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Thursday afternoon at 1:00 at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). A calling hour will precede the service from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Schenectady. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 7 Washington Square, Albany, NY 12205 in memory of Jean A. Robinson-Murray.
