Jean Marie Scheuer

SCHENECTADY- Scheuer, Jean M. , Jean left this earth on March 30, 2023 to take her place among the angels. She finished this life's journey so that she is now able to be with her husband Frank who died in 1996, and her daughter Cynthia LaFargue who died in 2007, her brother Raymond Helfer, as well as countless other angels.

Jean has left behind, and will be greatly missed by her children; Richard (Mary) Scheuer of Utah, Melinda (Paul) Segovis of Clifton Park, Valerie (John) Tokarowski (Hegaman), Michael (Beth) Scheuer of Michigan, Kimberly (Robert) Gemme of Rotterdam and Pamela (Paul) Balasco of Rotterdam, her 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, her sister Cathy (Jeff) Savlov of Florida, and several nieces and nephews.

Born Jean Marie Helfer on September 10, 1930 to the late Joseph and Beulah (Signor) Heffer in Pittsfield, MA. Meeting the love of her life Francis Edward Scheuer and beginning her life with him at the young age of 17. Losing Frank after 48 years of marriage, she longed for the day when she would be with him again. Loved by all who knew her, Jean was a devoted and loving mother and wife who provided a warm and happy home for her family. She was a compassionate and selfless mother who gave her love unconditionally to her children who all cherish their own special memories of her. In her later years, Jean had a passion for crossword puzzles, watching Yankee baseball and spending time with her family. She was known by many for her gift of gab and her big 'lip' kisses.

The family would like to thank Ellis Nursing Home Stockade Unit for providing compassionate care for Jean in her last years.
