Albany – Jeanette Post, 75, passed away suddenly on Sunday May 18, 2014. Born in Wade, South Carolina she is the daughter of the late Benny and Dora Griffen. Jeanette is a Sister at the Kingdom Hall in Albany, NY

No matter where she went, no matter who meant her, whether it be the first time or the tenth time, you could have been a bum or a VIP, Jeanette Post always made you feel like you mattered, you were loved. She held your hand when you needed it. She reached in her heart and she reached in her pocket when you asked. She never questioned you. She never spoke ill of anyone. Her heart was bigger then her and it over flowed to all that came into contact with her. She listened to you cry and she listened to you laugh. She never left your side. She never will. It's the little things she did, the smile, the tears, the concern and worrying. She loved all. She guided you with her faith and her faith guided her home.

She is survived by her 6 children: Stacie Carmon, Patricia Carmon, Derick (Angie) Carmon, Anthony (Lynn) Carmon, Jennifer (Howard) Jones and William (Hope) Carmon; her sister Dorothy (Emory) Reeding, over 30 grandchildren and great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be Thursday, May 22nd at New Comer Cannon, 343 New Karner Rd in Colonie, NY from 10:30am to 11:30am. Prayer will be at 11:30am. Funeral immediately to follow to at the Gerald B.H. Solomon-Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville, NY.
