Jeanne A. Chrisey

Jeanne A. Chrisey, 84, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 22, 2013 at Albany Memorial Hospital. She was born in Oswego, NY to the late Caroline Rock and Michael Olski. Jeanne loved camping at the Thousand Islands, cooking, fishing, was an avid sports fan and enjoyed being a homemaker.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Arthur Donald Chrisey, her sister Elizabeth (Francis) Van Alstyne and her brother-in-law John Morris.

Jeanne is survived by her sons, David (Susan) Chrisey of Guilderland and Dr. Douglas B. Chrisey of New Orleans. She is the cherished grandmother of Brian (Erin Hartman) of Schenectady, Jennifer of Dennis, MA., and Ryan and Kevin both of Niskayuna. Jeanne is the dear sister of Patricia (David) Gabrielsen of Castleton, sister-in-law Marilyn Morris of Watervliet, very special niece and dear friend Karen Lucarelli of Mechanicville. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and close friends.

The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center and the ER and ICU department of Albany Memorial Hospital for all the care and compassion given to Jeanne.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Charity of One's choice in Jeanne's memory.

Funeral service for Jeanne will be Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 9:00 am at the Church of Christ The King, 20 Sumpter Ave., Guilderland. Calling hours will be Friday from 4 to 7 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. The parish family of Christ the King will gather on Friday at 4:30 pm at the funeral home for a service for prayer and remembrance. All are welcome. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens, Colonie.
