Albany – Jeanne H. Gong, 73, formerly of Guilderland, passed away December 29, 2013 after a courageous battle with a long illness. Born in Altoona, PA she is the daughter of the late Robert and Eleanor Ansman.
Jeanne was a high school Art and English teacher, before giving up her career early to raise her three children. She was a devoted mother, and her children and grandchildren were the center of her world.
Jeanne is survived by her beloved children; Teresa Gong, Victoria (Ed) Woods, and Michael (Nicole Sanneman) Gong. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren; Sam, Andrew, Jack, Miles, and Lucas.
The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff at The Teresian House for the wonderful care and compassion they showed Jeanne and her family throughout her illness.
