Latham- Jeanne H. Manss, age 88, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2018 at The Eddy Village Green.
Jeanne was born in Albany, the daughter of the late Jay and Mildred Malone. She proudly raised 4 daughters along with her late husband Richard.
She entered the workforce as a professional secretary for years and retired from Liberty Mutual Insurance.
She was a lifelong sports advocate from horse racing, bowling, NY Yankees and NY Giants. She is best known for completing crossword puzzles in pen. She was known and loved by many as Miss Jeanne.
Jeanne is survived by her daughters: Lisa (Robert) Vickers, Carole (Bill Gould) Manss, Marie (James) Ward and Jeanne (Jay) Pinckney; grandchildren: Stephanie DeCitise, Kelly (Heather Miller) Vickers, Amber Flanders, Matthew Ward, Ali-Marie Pinckney and Shelby Pinckney; great grandchildren: Jordan, Olivia, Noah, Calder and Brooke. She was predeceased by grandson Robert Jerod Vickers.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the calling hours on Friday August 17 from 4 to 7 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, NY.
Private interment will be held at Graceland Cemetery at a later date.
