ALBANY- Jeanne "Jane" Trombly, 73, of Albany, formally of Rouses Point, NY, passed away at her home on Wednesday, September 10, 2014.
Born in Prospect, CT, to the late Exilda and Thomas Murray, of Highgate Vermont, Jane is predeceased by her brother Paul Murray of Prospect, CT.
Jane is survived by her loving children; Gregory Greene and Stacy Edwards, Stacey and Woody Plath, her beloved grandchildren; Corbin (Bloomington, IN), Sheldin (Great Lakes, IL), and Christina (Rotterdam, NY) Maumkel, her siblings; Alma (Bud) Casselman (Syracuse), Betty Pearce (Knoxville, TN), and Pauline Murray (Highgate Springs, VT) and a host of nieces and nephews scattered throughout the country.
Jane was a devoted mother and grandmother. She will be remembered for her love of nature, birds, and flowers, and for being a wonderful and extravagant hostess for all holidays and celebrations. Jane was very generous with all of her baked goods to not only her family, but anyone who wanted a taste. She was extremely well traveled all through the east coast and loved to go anywhere that had good sea food.
An hour of visitation will be held at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd, Colonie, NY on Saturday, September 13th at 2:30 pm, with a memorial service to follow at 3:30 pm.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Red Cross, who are helping get Jane's Grandson home from the Navy for his Grandmothers service. .
