Jeannette Denise Stewart
February 18, 1989 — April 17, 2021
Troy- Jeannette Denise Stewart, 32, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 17, 2021. Jeannette was the daughter of George and Demetria Stewart.
Jeannette enjoyed spending time with her entire family and all her friends. She loved going on trips to the beach and dancing like there was no tomorrow. Jeannette was a powerful force and held a strong passion for her work, friends, and family. She was always the life of the party, but went out of her way to make everyone feel heard and special. Jeannette graduated in 2008 from Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk High School and later attended Anne Arundel College in Maryland. She excelled in her role as Property Manager for several organizations and recently owned and ran her own business.
In addition to her parents, Jeannette is survived by her daughter, Madison Tennyson; brother, Aaron M. Stewart; birth father, Herman L. (Monica Simon) Rivera; grandparents, Jimmie Lee (Jeannette) Trotter, George (Marjorieann) Stewart Jr, Eladia "Yaya" Lind-Baez and William E. "Count" Farley; along with many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, New York, on Sunday, April 25, 2021, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm, with a funeral service to immediately follow at 2 pm. Gathering size within our chapels will be based on the most current NYS occupancy requirements. Masks are required, and social distancing is to be observed inside and outside of our chapels.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made to Demetria Stewart in care of Madison to be put into a trust fund for Madison.
