Jeff Hannah

Scotia NY, Jeffery Hannah, age 66, unexpectedly passed away at Ellis hospital on October 8th 2024, surrounded by his family. 

He was born in Schenectady NY on September 17, 1958, to Beverly Baird and the late Donald Hannah. Jeff is survived by his sister Nancy (Phil) McCormick; brothers Paul Hannah and Craig (Shirley) Hannah. He was also survived by several nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews. 

Jeff was the proud father to his daughter Stephanie (Jesse) Minick and his son Adam (Ashley) Hannah. He was also a loving grandfather to his grandchildren Jack and Lucy Minick and Ava and Jameson Hannah. 

Jeff, an avid outdoorsmen cherished his time with his son teaching him everything he knew about hunting and fishing. They spent many summers camping and fishing in the Adirondacks and every hunting season bonding over whitetail dear in the pine bush. 

He also enjoyed golfing and going to the driving range, where his daughter Stephanie holds some of her favorite memories with him. He was always there to support Stephanie at her track meets, in her career and of course, walking her down the aisle. 

He shared his love for music both listening and playing the guitar with his many friends and family. 

 Relatives and friends are invited to attend his celebration of life on Tuesday October 15th 2024 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at New Comer Cremation & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie NY 12205
