Jeffery J. Turner

Jeffery J. Turner passed away peacefully on June 3, 2015 at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany. He was 85 years old.
The son of the late Walter and Mattie, Jeffery was born on February 4, 1930 in Braddock Hills, PA. Jeffery was predeceased by his two brothers Willie and Walter Lee, Jr.
Jeffery retired in 1970 as a Master Sergeant in The U.S. Air Force after 22 years of service. He was also a retiree from Key Bank in Albany, NY where he was head of security after 20 years. He was a member of the 396th Veterans' Association, Inc. and Auxillary.
Jeffery is survived by his wife Anita L. Turner and his daughter Stacey D. Turner and two grandsons Jarown and Jarrod Belgrave along with several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 12 to 1 pm on Wednesday, June 10 at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. A funeral service will be held at 1pm. Burial will be at 12:30pm on Friday June 12, 2015 at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
