ALBANY – Jeffrey Pittman, 50, went to God on Monday, January 26, 2009 at his home, surrounded by his loving family and friends.
Jeffrey is survived by his father, Willie Earvin Pittman of Albany, his mother, Ethel Pearl Pittman of Roseville, MI, his brothers, Nathaniel Pittman (Karen) of Syracuse and James Webster of Clinton Township, MI; his sisters, Felicia Pittman of Gloversville, Elizabeth Pittman of Romulus, MI, Crystal Taylor (Johnnie) of Albany, Tina Holloway (Maurice) of Auburn, AL, Tanya Pittman of Schenectady and Candace Webster of Clinton Township, MI. He is also survived by a dear cousin, Aroma Thompson of Albany, 8 nieces, 9 nephews, aunts, uncles, 7 grand nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends who loved him dearly.
Jeffrey loved baking and cooking, he had a way with the ladies, had a great sense of humor and played pranks. He was an athlete. He lived life on his terms and he touched everyone he met.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Monday at New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.). A calling hour will precede the service from 11 a.m. to 12 noon on Monday. Interment will be at Albany Rural Cemetery in Menands.
