Jeffrey Stewart, 50, passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at his home.
Jeffrey was the son of the late Mary F. (Guiry) and Frank R. Stewart, Sr.
He was currently employed with Albany County Sheriffs Department. Jeffrey enjoyed football and was lucky enough to get a full scholarship to Youngstown State University in Ohio for coach Jim Tressel. He loved his Harley Davidson motorcycles, his cars and his beloved dog Rocco.
In addition to his father, Jeffrey is survived by his brothers and sisters; Mary (Owen) Shevlin, Donna (Steven) Roth, Frank (Kristine) Stewart, Paula Stewart and John Stewart. He is the proud uncle of; Jason, Brian (Courtney), Jamie (Sandy) Mossa; Brianna (Denver) and Carrie (JT) Shevlin; Zachary and Alexandra Roth; Meghan, Ryan (Pearl), Emily, Ian Stewart and Makenzie Wood; Lindsay Stewart; AJ and Joey Lombardi and Schylar Stewart. He is also survived by his great nieces and nephews; Eric Payton, Brian and Kylie Mossa, Peyton and Olivia Stewart and many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at 1:00 pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Calling hours will precede the funeral service from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service in Memory Gardens, Colonie.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, 5005 LBJ Freeway, Suite 250 Dallas, TX 75244-6125 or to the American Diabetes Association, Pine West Plaza Building 2, Suite 204 Albany, NY 12205 in Jeffrey's memory.
