Jeffrey Varner

Jeffrey S. Varner, born March 5, 1964 in Buffalo, NY passed away at home on December 17, 2023. Jeffrey worked for Hudson Correctional Facility Correctional, as a Corrections Officer for over 25 years.
Jeffrey was a respected Coach & Counselor and was known by many for his infectious smile.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert & Carole Varner, his brother, Michael Varner and his sister, Michele Varner Nailor.
He is survived by his life partner & soulmate, Rocio Villa, of Albany, NY, his dearest nephew & nieces of Buffalo NY, along with 2 stepdaughters, 3 grandchildren, a huge host of cousins, longtime Friends and coworkers.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, NY on Wednesday December 27, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. A funeral service will follow the calling hours at 6:00 pm at the funeral home. On Friday December 12/29/2023 there will also be calling hours and a service at St. John Baptist Church, 184 Goodell St. Buffalo, NY 14204, Overseer Michael Chapman, Pastor from 9:00 am to 11:00 am with service at 11:00 am and burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery 1411 Delaware Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14209.
