Jennie Baumann

COLONIE – Jennie M. Baumann of Colonie, passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2005 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Colonie, she was the daughter of the late Carmelo and Philomena Cerone Logiuduce. Jennie was a Colonie resident for all of her life. Mrs. Baumann was a cafeteria aide for the South Colonie School District for over 20 years, before retiring. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mercy Church, a life member of the Fuller Road Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the Hart Social Center. Jennie was the beloved wife of 64 years to the late William J. Baumann, Sr. until his passing in 2002. She is the devoted mother of William J. Baumann, Jr. and his wife, Beverly, Anthony J. Baumann and his wife, Mary K. and Jeanne M. Frey and her husband, Eric. She is the sister of Theresa Drake, Mary Eats and the late Constance Bendell. Also surviving are eleven cherished grandchildren, 15 loving great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday morning at 10:15 at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.) then to Our Lady of Mercy Church at 11:00 where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Mercy Food Pantry, 26 Wilson Ave., Albany, NY 12205 in memory of Jennie M. Baumann.
