Jennie Coluccio

Jennie Coluccio, 90, of Albany went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, December 28, 2014 at Albany Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.

Born February 26, 1924 in Messina, Italy, she was a daughter of the late Dominic and Catherine Alessi.

Jennie worked as a Seamstress for many years at several locations and was very talented at her trade. She was a wonderful homemaker who loved to cook and was especially known for her delicious homemade breads. Family was her greatest joy and she will be forever missed and treasured.

Survivors include her daughters Catherine Marrello (Dan) of Colonie and Maria Mesiti of Albany; sons Dominick Coluccio (Sue) and Frank Coluccio (Pam) both of Albany; daughter-in-law Lillian Coluccio; sister-in-laws Maria Teresa Oppedisano, Mona Coluccio, Marian Coluccio and Rosina Coluccio; grandchildren Laraine VanNort (Roger), Elizabeth Mesiti (Mark), Nicola Coluccio (Suzanne) and Christina and Rocco Coluccio and five great grandchildren. Jennie is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Rocco Coluccio; son Nicola Coluccio; grandchildren Stacy and Michael Coluccio and son-in-law Nicholas Mesiti.

Funeral services will be held Saturday morning January 3rd at 8:15 A.M. at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Albany followed by a Mass of Christian burial 9 A.M. at All Saints Catholic Church, 16 Homestead Street, Albany, NY. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday evening January 2nd from 4 to 8 pm. Entombment with be held at Memory Gardens, Colonie.
