ROTTERDAM- Jennifer D. Breyette, age 72, formerly of Plattsburgh, NY, passed away on April 10, 2024 at Albany Medical Center with her family by her side.
Jennifer was born in Plattsburgh, NY on November 11, 1951, the daughter of the late Mitchell Miner and Isabelle Lamkins. She was also predeceased by her brother Kenneth Collins.
She attended The Asumption of Mary School in Redford, NY and later Saranac High School where she graduated in 1969.
Jennifer retired from New York State after 30 years of service. She was a devoted sister, an avid reader and enjoyed gardening despite all the hours of needed weeding. Her greatest joy in life was being a mother and grandmother. She was a dedicated dance grandma, who would be often found at her granddaughter's practices and competitions rooting her on.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Amanda and granddaughter Camille. Sisters Regina Thompson and Shirley Keil, brothers David Miner and Charles Miner (Kathy). Nieces Tracey Hempel (Will) and Michelle Camp (Rick), grand-nephews Luke and Morgan Hempel as well as her former spouse, Gary Breyette. Jennifer is also survived by numerous relatives and close friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours on Tuesday April 16, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205. All are invited to attend her Memorial Services following at 6:00 p.m.
