Bron Jenssen passed away on January 1, 2015; he had celebrated his 91st birthday. It was always with great pleasure he would announce that he was born in and grew up in Brooklyn, NY. He was in the first class of students at the High School of Music and Art in New York City.
Bron served his country as a photographer on heavy bombers in the European Theater in WWII. Coming home, he attended the Art Students League, studying his passion for the arts, which proved to be his career choice.
He leaves behind, Wilma, his wife of 44 years, three step children Kirk Beason (N.Y.C.), Eric Beason (Calif.), Wendy Fleischman of Albany; four grandchildren, three great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
There will be a service later for family at Westminster Presbyterian Church and a memorial gathering in the spring after cremation, burial will be at Albany Rural Cemetery at a later date.
