Jeremy J. Van Vorst, 26, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at his home with his loving family by his side.
Jeremy was the son of Adam Van Vorst and Tonia (Fink) Van Vorst.
He worked for Fed Ex. through out the years in Rensselaer, NY
Jeremy enjoyed working on cars, loved spending time outdoors, fishing, hiking and hunting. He lived for family get together's and always was the life of the party.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather and grandmother Ronald Fink Sr "Poppy" and Katherine Fink "Nana" and his paternal grandmother Rosemary Van Vorst.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his brother, Nathan R. (Abbie Ball) Van Vorst, his fiance, Allyson Colson, his children Tahla, Zuri and Veeona Van Vorst. His aunt and uncle Carol "Gidget" (Gary) Bright and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, NY on Wednesday March 20, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. A celebration of life will follow at 3:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association - Albany 4 Atrium Drive, Albany, NY 12205 , St. Jude P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148 , Mohawk Hudson Humane Society 3 Oakland Avenue, Menands, NY 12204 in Jeremy's honor.
