On October 23, 2022, The Lord chose to call Jermaurlin Brewer's spirit to its eternal heavenly home. The Word of God states "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord". Hallelujah!
Jermaurlin was born on October 21, 1972 to Jacqueline Brewer and Samuel Wright. He also spent many of his earlier years living with a special Aunt, Dorothy Brewer-Everett (Ernest) and was like a brother to two of his special cousins (Monell Cherry (Felicia) and Marshay Cherry. He was educated in the Albany and Buffalo School Systems and was then employed by St. Peters' Hospital where he worked as a Dietary Aide for many years along with various other employment.
He was blessed with one sister (Kiamesha Wright) and two brothers (Samuel Wright)-Albany and Rashaun Brewer (Erika) (Georgia), and one step sister (Tahmineh Zanders).
Jermaurlin had four children – One daughter (Shayla Brewer (Paul), two sons (Jermaurlin Brewer I and Jermaurlin Brewer II, and a stepson Christopher Johnson. He also had one granddaughter (Zerhia Crispo). He was also blessed with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Jermaurlin had five special lifelong friends from Buffalo (Craig McNair, CA Mazyck, Carl Logan, Donald White and Sam Sam).
Honorable Mention of Lynne Marie Johnson (wifee) who has been a faithful and loving friend and is also the mother of Jermaurlin I and Shayla. Lynn says "Thank you for my children".
Jermaurlin was an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills. He also loved hanging out with his children, family and at cousin Monell and Felicia's house.
From Jermaurlin - To my family, friends and associates:
"Weep not in tears of sorrow because I've gone away, but weep with tears of gladness for the peace I have today.
I know your hearts are heavy with sorrow that you bear, but God has called me home, my place is ready there." "Hand to the Head".
To Jermaurlin from Family
