Jerry Leto

ALBANY – Jerome (Jerry) Joseph Leto, 55, of Albany, passed away on Tuesday July 6, 2010.
Jerry was born in Albany and was the son of the late Joseph S. Leto Jr. and Mary McCoy Hamel Leto. Jerry worked most of his life operating heavy equipment for several contractors, including Leto Bros Construction, Sky Auto and Casale Excavating.
He is survived by his siblings, Duane H. Myott Leto, JoAnn Leto Bieber, Daniel J. Leto and Joseph S. Leto III. Jerry was very close with both of his ex wives, Barbara Alston Leto and Valerie Kircher Leto. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He will be missed by all.
Funeral services will be Tuesday evening at 7:00 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4 to 7 at the funeral home.
