Mechanicville- Jessica L. Robert, 38 of Mechanicville passed away peacefully on February 16, 2022 after a long illness at her residence.
Born on January 21, 1984 in Albany, she was the daughter of Alida (Dauphinais) Robert and Gerald M. (the late Cynthia) Robert.
Jessica was a lifelong resident of the area and attended local schools. She graduated from South Colonie High School, Class of 2002 and Hudson Valley Community College with an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice, Class of 2005.
Jessica was known for her sense of humor, caring heart and being a great friend to many. She was talented in playing the violin and making crafts of any kind. Jessica loved animals, especially penguins, baby goats, cats and peeps. She was a fan of the New York Giants and played soccer during her school years.
Though the memories that Jessica held closest to her heart were the ones that she spent with her friends and family, especially her daughter, Lillyana.
In addition to her loving parents and adored daughter, Jessica is survived by her brothers, Christopher (April) Robert, James (Alicia DiCerbo) Bleau and Zackary Bleau; longtime partner, Dennis Trubridge; stepdaughters, Lexi Trubridge, Miranda Trubridge and Jordyn Trubridge; step granddaughter, Hope; paternal grandmother, Catherine "Kay" (the late Gerald H.) Robert; maternal grandmother, Nancy (the late Michael A.) Dauphinais and maternal grandfather Clarence (the late Dorothy Burnash) May. Jessica is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and loving friends.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, February 24, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, New York 12205. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 25, 2022 at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will immediately follow at Memory Gardens, Colonie.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jessica's memory may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, New York 10016 or the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116.
