Albany-Jessicalynne M. Johnson September 15, 1987 – May 30, 2021

Jessicalynne "Lady" passed away peacefully at home on Sunday May 30, 2021.

She was born on September 15, 1987 to Loretta Thompson and Derrick Johnson. A gorgeous little baby, vibrant, happy and always wanting to spread her "Luv".

She attended Albany and Atlanta GA public school systems. Jessicalynne was a determined learner who caught on quickly. Her book smarts allowed her to express herself and gain knowledge. She would use skills to win Black History Month and other written awards. After graduation she obtained her Associates Degree for Registered Medical Assistant from Branford Hall Career Institute.



She grew up in the Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church Family. Throughout her life she enjoyed putting a smile on your face. Jessicalynne blossomed into a beautiful, vibrant young woman. She loved the excitement from Delta Pearls and learning the etiquette of being a "LADY".

She was fun, kind hearted, helpful, with a desire to spread Luv and joy, and always had a great big smile. Jessicalynne had the biggest heart and the biggest brain!" She always aimed to please. She enjoyed writing poetry, laughing, cooking, singing and dancing. When she caught a melody you had no chance of your body not feeling her Luv! And let's not forget she could braid a head of hair better than a boy scout could tie a knot. She could out talk you any day of the week! She devoted herself to being a Loving strong single mother. She dedicated her life to her children making them smile and bringing joy and happiness into their lives. Her mastery of "sign language" proved how faithful and determined she was to her family.

Jessica has two beautiful young babies still with us today, Amarilynne age 7 and Aniyalynne age 2. We have setup a contribution memorial fund for her children.
Jessicalynne is survived by her loving family, mother Loretta Thompson-Hinton, father Derrick Lamar Johnson, her two daughters Amarilynne age 7 and Aniyalynne age 2, brother Jahmale Johnson, Austin TX.

Grandmothers Patricia Louis, Barbara Johnson, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and Loving friends.

She is predeceased by her great –grandmothers, Loretta A. Mitchell and Monica Martin, grandfather James Johnson, Uncle Milton "Nutt" Thompson Jr. and Great uncle Bruce Snyder.
