Jessie H. Schramm

SLINGERLANDS – Jessie H. Schramm, 76, of Slingerlands, passed away on Monday June 13, 2011 at her residence.
She was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late James and Jessie Reinemann Edwards. Jessie enjoyed shopping, feeding the wildlife and frequenting casinos. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the many neighbors and friends that have been so kind and helpful during Jessie's illness.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years, John H. Schramm; her children, Linda (George) Mariani, Charlotte (Michael) Belak and John (Caterina) Schramm Jr. She is the sister of the late James Edwards. Jessie is the cherished grandmother of Jeffrey Belak, Jessica (David) Wescott and Michelle Belak. She is the great grandmother of Jeffrey Belak.
Funeral services will be Saturday morning at 9:30 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. Calling hours will be Friday from 5 to 7 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memory Gardens. At the request of the family, memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Albany, 445 New Karner Rd. Albany, NY 12205 in memory of Jessie H. Schramm.
